In addition, the new extended liftgate configuration opens up cargo capacity by a generous 2.1 cubic feet. Adaptive xenon headlamps are now standard, and LEDs are now an option. Inside, BMW is now offering the 5 Series Gran Turismo in the choice of Luxury Line, Modern Line, and M Sport. The interior is so inviting to all passengers that they will not want to get out at the end of the ride. The frameless doors scream high class and the rear passengers have phenomenal legroom. Plus, the driver can enjoy a larger center covered storage bin in 2014. Currently standard is the iDrive 4.2 Navigation system with rotary controller that includes a touchpad. This update is key to safety and technology. With a choice of either petrol or diesel engines, this eight-speed transmission vehicle tops out at 250mph boasting 225-hp.
